How Do I Know When it’s Time?

Deciding to euthanize your companion animal may be one of the most difficult decisions you ever make. Often, well-loved pets are euthanized to minimize unnecessary suffering. The quality of animals’ lives is defined by their overall physical and mental well-being, not just one aspect of their lives. The chart on the opposite side of this fact sheet attempts to consider all aspects of your pet’s life. It is important to remember that all pets are different.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our trusted vet for over 20 years (started in Red Deer and continued in Sylvan Lake). The staff are amazing people who really care for and respect our animals. We appreciate all the care and attention offered at both the beginning and the end if life. Compassion is what they offer. (10/10)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This veterinary really does do there best for how busy they can be. Been going here for years. Front staff is great to get along with. Lana and recently sarah are the vets i have had my pug in to see. They take time to listen to symptoms and diagnose with knowledge. Lana has been there for me with even responding to emails and phone calls. Also thank you to Dr Stigter and kimberley on a follow up appointment that gave me peace of mind. They both were very compassionate towards my pug. And made sure she was good to go with no stone unturned 👍👍❤️ Thank you parkland vet 😊

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been with Parkland Vets for a long time! Their people and service has always been top notch. Bottom line is: THEY CARE! I was very fortunate to have found them so many years ago...

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The vet and her assistant were very thorough in their examination of my little dog. I was satisfied with their analysis and they didn’t suggest anything unnecessary. They said if the issue persists I can bring her back for a follow up at no additional charge. I’m happy to announce that based on their suggestions my dog is back to normal.
